how do you covert textures to PCX if you don't have photoshop?

can GIMP convert textures ?
I fairly sure it's basically an open version of photoshop.

sorry to bump an old thread, but can anyone provide a link for any of the mentioned texture converters. The Irfan view link is off, Google search for "bright brought" up a sword shop (?) and other curios and the GIMP is being a pain in the ass.

ugh, maybe I should re-phrase that last line.....

IIRC, you can find bright somewhere in the Epic website....

Try zdnet.co.uk as well - might give you some luck there.
