Something about 32bit TGAs and alpha transparency. You have been kicked.
Er... little help, Lighty?

uhm yep... What he means is...
When using background images, like planets or nebulae, you can only use 24-bit TGA files. 32-bit TGAs do not show up. However, alpha transparency would REALLY be useful there. (especially for planets!)
So if anyone could implement working 32-bit TGAs with the backgrounds it would be fine.
32-bit TGAs work with ship textures, but they do not work with backgrounds.

Will the Background code handle DDS support? The Transparency settings on that seem to work, though it must be mentioned that White is transparent in a DDS Alpha map, whereas I think most Alpha Maps, black is transparent?
Edit : Have a sneaky suspicion I've got something the wrong way round there, but it's New Year, and I'm in glasgow and have no way to check ;)
