Title: Almost there
Post by: Singh on December 31, 2003, 11:57:45 pm
OK.
I almost- ALMOST have FS2 working on this system. I tried the OpenGL approach, and it said that I require drivers which have OpenGL v1.2 or something similar, and that my current version is V1.1
Can anyone help me with this?? If i can get FS2 to work (albiet with sucky graphics) at least it means i can FRED and playtest my own missions!

im currently running Win2000 with an STB Veloticy 128 (Nvidia)

Get the latest video card drivers. If those drivers don't include OpenGLv1.2 or higher, than you are screwed.

Dude, like DC said, go to the nVidia website and get the appropriate drivers. They will include the latest version of OGL. You just need to pray that your card supports a high enough version ;7

A Riva 128?  Likely doesn't go that high - even in drivers.  I could be wrong but thats essentially the same generation as a 3DFX Voodoo 1 card (but it was never quite as sucessful).
