Name a few...
Hm...how much?..Shall we limit it to 10 per person?...or else each post will be a endless list...
O.k. - so pick the best soundtracks from 10 mivies/series
GO!
-
Face had one of the best intro songs ever. Lock Stock & snatch were ok, LoTR was suitable - as were the Star Wars films.
Um. That's it.
-
Christopher Frankes tracks for Babylon 5 are awesome, and Space 2063 had a very nice intro, too.
The best movie soundtrack has the Wing Commander movie(granted the movie itself was crap, but that intro, wow, it made you think that it's going to be a good, epic movie with good actors and all, wow!), Terminator II had some good tracks too.
-
Mmh... anime musics rule them all.
A prime exemple would be the OST from Saint Seiya ( author: Seiji Yokoyama ), it's gorgeous, it ranges from electric guitar to violin. You can also get about anything from Yoko Kanno, of course.
Search for 'saint seiya ost' on google, if you don't like, you're deaf.

Star Wars
Terminator 2....probably..
Robotech...
Top Gun...
J.A.G...
Hmm..I can't remember how the one from Babylon 5 went...or Braveheart...but I think they were good too...
Darn...I wish I could remember half the movies I'v seen, or 1/10 of the soundtracks I heard...but I guess that only the best remain in your ear...
I'd knew these I listed even if you woke me up in the middle of the night...
EDIT: Saint Seiya? Oh..I remember - the Knights of the Zodiac!
I used to watch that when I was a kid...it's been a long time tough....
Or are we talking about the same series?

the one with the Borg, right? If I'm thinking of the right one, then yeah it had excellent music.
Let's see... LotR had good music, Star Wars of course, Matrix's music was pretty good and X-Men 1 also.
EDIT: Oh yeah, Minority Report! I knew I forgot one. and while I'm thinking about it Unbreakable had one cool tune in it.
-
Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
Snatch
The Matrix
The Italian Job had a decent one...
Ehh... memory failing me...
-
Pretty much what everyone else said, but I'd like to add Gladiator. Some kickass music, in that.
-
Queen of the Damned
Little Nicky
Titan AE
The Matrix
-
B5 LotR (all 3) all of Hans Zimmer
-
Can't really what's good in the matrix music, save for the famous bit in the very begining, during the title appearance.
-
Thelma & Louise
Star Wars trilogy
Solaris
Batman (Danny Elfman & Prince)
Top Gun
Xanadu
Mortal Kombat

I can't decide between the Matrix soundtracks and the Mortal Kombat soundtracks. Basically, they're both just a collection of music that I like to listen to while driving or playing a space combat sim. They've got that hard, fast, frenetic pace that appeals to me.
There's something indescribable about fighting your way through a major battle listening to "Wake Up".
-
If I was going to listen to Rage through a battle, I'd prefer Guerilla Radio or Testify.
-
Not being much of a Rage fan, I just rather like that one song. I think it makes perfect battle music. :D
-
I'm actually more likely to listen to Richard Cheese through a battle :p
-
Richard Cheese?

It’s cold outside, there’s no kind of atmosphere,
I’m all along, more or less.
Let me fly, far away from here,
Fun, fun, fun, in the sun, sun, sun.
I want to lie, shipwrecked and comatose,
Drinking fresh mango juice.
Goldfish shoals, nibbling at my toes,
Fun, fun, fun, in the sun, sun, sun,
Fun, fun, fun, in the sun, sun, sun.
I’ll pack my bags, and head into hyperspace,
Velocity at time-warp speed.
Spend my days in ultraviolet rays,
Fun, fun, fun, in the sun, sun, sun.
We’ll lock on course, straight through the universe,
You and me, and the galaxy.
Reach the stage, hyperdrive’s engaged,
Fun, fun, fun, in the sun, sun, sun,
Fun, fun, fun, in the sun, sun, sun.

Oh yeah, Naruto soundtrack is really cool :) ( during the sad parts, or during a fight, they're the best :) ).
-
Yep. "Sadness and Sorrow", "The Raising Fighting Spirit" and "Strong and Strike" are the ones I play quite frequently (and the main theme too of course). Pretty rocking OST ^^

How could I forget Red Dwarf... Man *whacks his own forehead*...
I loved that show, I mean I seriously loved it, I was in tears with each bloody episode. I need to get the whole show. All of it...
-
I spent the whole of yesterday reinstalling windows on my cousins computer. I managed to get through the whole of seasons 4 and 5 and part of 6 while doing so. :)
I'd completely forgotten how great that show was.
RIMMER: Hmm. Marvelous. (Crosses over to a small, angular box near the
door.) Now this three-dimensional sculpture in particular is quite
exquisite. Its simplicity, it's bold, stark lines... pray, what do you
call it?
LEGION: The light switch.
RIMMER: The light switch.
LEGION: Yes.
RIMMER: I couldn't buy it, then?
LEGION: Not really. I need it to turn the lights on and off.
-
Stargate, LOTR. :)
-
this is probably something to do with the fact that im a girl. i only really have one in common with you guys.
lotr, definitely.
i loved the music in 'spirit stallion of the cimarron' (which i saw because of my sister; the story was a bit stupid but the music was cool)
and 'romeo must die'.
-
Darn...I knew I forgot something...
Yes - Knight Rider Theme, Mortal Kombat Mucis...Can't remember how the music from Loddos War went and I haven't watched Gundam SEED
If it's Yoko Kanno's work, then I don't even have to listen to them for them to get my vote!
