Have a look at the Source Code Project now that you're here. We've done some wonderful things to FS2 (It's almost a new game!).

Hmm... Welcome to the pit of hell and doom and other evil things. Beware of: Stryke 9, an0n, and Virtu. All 3 are very deadly and can easily corrupt your mind. I'd also suggest staying away from #nodewar on irc.sorcery.net, the kind of things that go on there are very... umm... healthy to the mind? :nervous:

Recommended campaigns: Homesick, Derelict, and Warzone. Those were my favorites so far. ;)

Post by: Black Wolf on January 05, 2004, 12:19:15 am: There's lots of dead ones about the place, though I honestly don't get how HLP is so hard to find - F2S is on Page 1 of a Google Search for Freespace 2, and we often refer people here. HLP itself is on page one of a search for Freespace 2 Mods, and a search for Freespace 2 campaign or Freespace 2 Campaigns brings up Reci and the Port repectively within the first few hits.

Still, it's good to know at least some newbies stll make it here :) Welcome bbobb

Other than that, check out the hi-poly galaxy thread for ST ships, some of the other forums for MODs and what-not. Dont forget that the exits are to the sides and the rear, and that machine guns are available under the seats in case of Shivan invasion (not that it'll do much good use....which is why we put the HLPBB Laser in your smilies box :))
