Title: Shivan Subspace Bomber - Thumbs Up or Down?
Post by: Rampage on January 12, 2004, 05:00:39 pm: I just textured one of my old meshes that I had for Attempted Suicides. It's a Shivan subspace bomber that has the capability to fire a subspace "beam" (the overrated subspace weapon from Inferno) carried by some Shivan supercapital vessels. This weapon will be of lesser magnitude (it hasn't be tabled) and will - um - be carried by this bomber.

So it wasn't eyecandy. But do blame it on the JPG file format. :nervous: Write a short critique of it. Tell me what you think.

NOTE: Any Inferno staff who stumbles upon this model and wishes to use it in Inferno must contact me immediately.

Post by: Trivial Psychic on January 12, 2004, 06:18:38 pm: Looks like a sub-cruiser class Diablo. I assume (if she's used for Inferno) she'll carry beams like those on that Inferno bomber that looks like the younger cousin of a Shadow vessel (B5).

Post by: Black Wolf on January 13, 2004, 02:46:41 am: Well, to be entirely honest, I don't really like it. There's no discernable cockpit as there is on most Shivan vessels, the profile looks very flimsy, and the overall shape doesn't look particualrly shivan... Alien yes. Shivan, sadly not.

IMO anyway.
