Title: FS1 ship casualties

Does anybody know or have a list of FS1 casualties or names of all Terran and possibly Vasudan ships?
GTD Bastion
GVC Mecross.....ect.
I'm trying my best to make a really good campaign using the port and maybe make a small casualty lists, news, and whatnot.:)

well, the casualties list can very greatly depending on how good of a pilot you are, unless you mean just the scripted ones.

i Believe the GTCv Lysander (Destroyed By Ravana) and the GVD Thanatos (Beleived Destroyed By Santhanas) where lost in the Nebula Campaign.

There's probably quite a few less destroyed ships because the command briefings tend not to say "we lost X ship here" like in FS2. I'm not aware of any such list but if someone were to do it up I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate it. I know myself that I've looked at the FS2 list a dozen or so times. And while FS1 is in the minority in terms of new campaigns and MODS, there is still a lot of interest.

I agree, I was thinking when I looked at sandwhich's list that someone should add briefings that would contain casulties and keep up with the campaign. Hope you can see what I mean, never was any good at explaining stuff.  And it's not a FS1 campaign, it's FS2 with the port

That's exactly what I am doing right now. :D By the way, did you ever get that cloaking feature working? I would like to make use of that in the campaign, but I have no idea how to activate it.

The GTCv Lysander and the GTCv Actium were destroyed by the Ravana in the nebula, iirc.

And I'd imagine the FS1 losses were much greater.

Then again, FS2 we were weakened by the civil war.

But in FS1 we had no protection for months of the war.

Then again, again, the Shivans returned with many many more ships in 2.

But they never bombarded another planet...

Instead they thought bigger...

And when the Plaxos came, all was lost...

Poor little guys...

All alone out there...

Fighting the good fight, against suprisingly underwhelming forces...

everything will be re-started once 3.6 is released.  I also want to do an cloak effect like the one in Halo.

Whoops... :nervous: I always miss the FS1 threads... :sigh: HM... FS1 era... most were mentioned, but there are others that are not mission scripted but player specific... I'd reccomend staying away from the GTD Minnow, and the GTD Intrepid if its a FS1ish era campaign, else goober or i might snap... :nervous: j/k

As soon as you get your Tech Room entry for Nephilim, it mentions that those bombers have "already destroyed two destroyers". Do they speak of both Typhons and Orions or O's only (which seems reasonable)?

That only adds somewhat 20,000 human casualties (Alpha 1 was not present, so all EPods were destroyed etc.etc.).

I never could save the Nelson.
You must defend the PVD Hope. I know there is an is-previous-event in the Failure to Communicate mission in case the Hope gets destroyed, but the crux is that FS1 doesn't allow you proceed to the next mission in case the GVD Hope gets destroyed.

You save the Nelson by ordering it to depart immediately when it jumps in. If it jumps out in time, Vishnu wing won't follow it out and you can kill them.

I didn't know this. Simply because I was certain I couldn't save the freighter. I simply engaged full throttle and hunted down as many Scorpions as I could.

This bug deserves at least three signs saying: HA!

Oddly, I lost most of the preventable Terran vessels. :drevil:

While that would be fantastic for fighters it wouldn't do capships much good, so can you retain the fade to transparency (and make it work on D3D)?
