10-year-olds are smoking pot in school, the arest chambers are loaded to twice the allowed number of OD's and amphetamine-depressed pre-teens, local ecstasy, with a dangerously high amount of other drugs and a stamped on Nike(tm) sign is being exported into the scandinavia, our population is now officially the fastest decreasing population in the world, and by the time the number of estonians falls below 1. million, half of them will be high anyway, the doggie style has been renamed the late spring's donkey, and instead of buying flicks like Lost In Translation or 21 Grams, distributors buy stuff like Legally Blonde 2 and Ghost Ship. Half of them oscar nominations won't be screened here until the golden men are given, and some not even then.
It's a wonderful life.
Also, drugs shouldn't be legalised. I don't care what Netherlands/Tiara thinks, estonians (and the fenno-ugri peoples in general) have a tendency of self-destruction. We've got enough pot-headed kindergarten kids now.

You'd take a hell of a long time to OD on cannabis mate. In fact, you can't actually do it, it's something like two times your own body weight for it to even be slightly damaging, by that time you'd be so far gone you'd probably forget where you were, what you are and why you seem so stoned.

well, pot headed 10 year olds is bad, smoking weed, and someking in general should ave an age limit, just like booze.
but really, the damage of weed seems minimal. even in my own schoolgrounds (high school, 12-18, this building mostly 16-18, all spoiled brats from rich parents, if you believe the prejudice) i sometimes smell a whiff of smoke that isn't tabacco. the damage seems minimal. but any extreme is bad. when you outlaw it completely, it will be so illegal it get's exciting to experiment with, but when you give it to a toddler it's bad too.

Understandable mate, you have to grow up at some point and these things are best experimented with when you're young. Though I think I've been experimenting a bit much of late. :)

LOL That's the problem, I'll still smoke if theres some going round at a party, but I find I appreciate it more in moderation :)
Speaking of Moderation, for the sake of the forums and general PC, I recommend everyone get the facts and know the risks of anything before they try it, I am not against 'social drugs' as such, but I am against Morons snorting 3 lines of Persil and wondering why their nose is bleeding ;)

Understandable mate, you have to grow up at some point and these things are best experimented with when you're young. Though I think I've been experimenting a bit much of late.
Actually, a teen who uses drugs/alchohol has 7 times the chance of becoming an alchoholic or a drug addict than an adult. As far as weed is concerned, it is no more dangerous than alchohol, but ****, preteens shouldn't consume superflous amouts of that either.
But I can't seem to understand the idea of willingly destroying your health anyway. Excessive use of alchohol or weed causes damage anyway.
Plus there's the thing, that I have a profound hate for drunk/high women. There are few things uglier than that. I don't care if they are more sexually... ahem... liberal, I wouldn't want to fcuk them, even if they were served on a silver platter. Call me old-fashioned.
And then there's amphetamine. Which interestingly calls for a funny story. Apparently a girl, after being a while without some, decided, to end her life, by jumping off a second story window. Too bad the ground was soft, and she ended up only with a broken ankle. She then ran up, and jumped off the fifth floor, landing, unfortunately in a pile of sand, breaking both legs.
Her first word to the paramedic were: "Don't tell my parents, they're gonna kill me if they find out!"

Excessive use of ANYTHING will damage your body, water, food, alcohol, pot. Anything.
Never touched amphetamines and I never will, seen too many people lose control down that particular road, also ecstasy is a big no no.
My G/F and I have no problems getting drunk and high together, in fact we've had some downright hillarious fun in that fashion though that's not to say we can't have sober fun.
At the end of the day it's all a matter of choice and if you choose to do those things then that's all there is. As long as you don't hurt anyone but yourself then there isn't a problem. Unfortunately, it seems that the most negative attention that drugs receive stems from assholes who that if they were sober, would still be assholes. Funny that.
Some explanation is required for the doggystyle stuff though.

Well, take a leaf (if you'll pardon the pun) out of Hollands book. Most native people in Amsterdam don't really touch the stuff, but make a fortune from holiday makers from the rest of Europe, particuarly the UK. If it was legalised, there'd probs be a binge for about 3-4 weeks and then it would get boring cos it wasn't illegal any more, and you'd probably find less people smoked it, particuarly among the younger age groups, because it had lost it's 'danger' appeal.

Oddly enough I never ever felt like cannabis was this huge illegal massively big deal, it's always had the same view in my eyes as alcohol (actually, I smoke more than I drink, way more in fact, I can't say I'm an especially big fan of alcohol). I just enjoy being stoned and I can't really say much beyond that.

Yes, I've never really developed a taste for alcohol either, Beer tastes awful to me, I simply can't drink it :(
I tended to find I enjoyed cannabis most when doing texturing or writing music or the like, and no, the legality thing was never really an issue for me either.
A great deal of young people start drugs simply because they are told they shouldn't, or to impress their freinds, or because of that wonderful teenage habit of taking their revenge on the world in the most self-destructive manner possible ;)
Personally I think legalisation would do a lot to curb that, some people find that cannabis is their alcohol, I don't see why this should be a problem, as long as it is treated in the same way, i.e. the same laws apply regarding driving, age etc.

Seriously though, how many kids do you think would shop-lift and get into fights and **** if they thought there was a chance of being dragged into the town-center, strapped into a frame atop a big platform and beaten like little *****es infront of the assembled masses then branded a "Thieving little ****head"?
The problem with justice today is that because of all these human-rights tards and liberal cock-suckers you can't put the fear of God into potential criminals.

One the note of pot, its not something to be encouraged. To further the point let me say I like my penis being useable with a women, I like being able to remember things, and I don't want to risk future mental illness. So no, teh weed is bad.

It would be interesting to see, but the problem is that there are a lot of theories knocking around about what THC does and doesn't do to your system. That is the main danger, no-one is actually certain.

Cocaine shrinks your dick and furs your arteries.
Ecstacy just gives you slighty skewed highs and lows, and it fudges your memory if you use it too heavily.
Heroin is just extreme chemically addictive and the numbness it gives you causes extreme pain during withdrawl.
Weed makes you paranoid and increases the chances of developing schizophrenia and other psychosis.
Alcohol destroys you internal organs (it's poison afterall).
Tobacco contains carcinogens.
Crack is chemically and psychologically addictive.
Valium just plain ****s you up.
Personally, I've given it all up. I don't need chemically enhanced moods and horrific side-effects.

I have no problem with any of those things and future mental illness is a risk you have regardless of pot. It's just a trigger in some people.

Not really, either way I'm not really fussed, you can get pills to give you a boner, memory loss isn't really a big deal when you don't have **** worth remembering anyway and as for mental illness, I'll take the risk.
In fact, I'd take all of those gladly over cirrohsis of the liver, I've seen what that does too and that's not a nice thing to have to deal with.

Call me old-fashioned but I still prefer the cold, hard emptiness of not caring about a damn thing to the temporary 'highs' of narcotics.
See, that's partly why I gave up doing drink and weed and ****; They're mood enhancers which is kinda pointless when you have no mood to start with.
If you're emotionally numb, all you get is you go tired and dizzy for a few hours. And I can get that through sleep-deprivation.

HOLY CRAP! not only does this make perfect sense to me, but I agree with it too. I know plenty of gangsta' and playa' wannabes and cowboy/jerks who would behave much better if they knew they'd get whacked over the head or something for breaking rules.
