Wel just a crappy render to show of. Lots of room for improvement so maby i'll work on it abit more. I renderd this part out of animation i was doing.

[color=66ff00]Slightly pixelated (models from Bab project?) but great scene, plenty of energy.

hehe..true:)
Models are made by Fabio:)
I used abit to much motionblur.

I like it. The action is good, and I really like your laser fire effect. You're right, though, it could do with some more work; the composition is a bit confused. But not bad at all. :)

uhm .... those 2 green lines need to go :)
-
Those are minbari Nutron cannon from there fighters.
Although they indeed look funky.
-
Niceee! looking good:)
-
I feel the urge to render tonight so i might bring out a better version.
-
Nice work always good to see no FS modles getting a showing!
I realy like background, looks cool, like the camera is trying to follow the ships as they streak past.
Nice!

Wel the models arent mine. The fighters are made by Nadeb. The laser fire is mine.

cool. green is a good colour. people don't use it nearly enough... i like green.

so uhm darky its a model....not a light?

Better to have just the energy blobs, can't say Narns use laser-shots like those - Never seen it. Only the Drakh use things like that, with targeting lasers and blobs mixed in. It really does look cool though. *remembers the Lines of Communication episode* ... Those Drakh weapons were cool!

drakh got beams + pulses :)

Yeah...applied a glow to the procederal maps.

Shadows are a bit sharp. Use shadow maps and spotlights to light the scene. I find you get a much nicer result.
I think theres a decent tutorial for a good space lighting scene at ap3d.com
