Are these possible atall? i noticed that the engine glows can be specified in the ships.tbl, i was wondering if the same could be applied for the engine sounds - if not already.

Yeah, either that or support for a fourth species...

There is support for more species, DG...
And I thought that each ship's tbl entry had the $enginesnd field for changing the sounds?

Sorry, should have said 'flyby' sounds.
anyways, we'll have to try the new species stuff - although I thought that was still buggy?

The flyby sound for the new species needs to be defined in sounds.tbl before the species will work anyway ;)
