So it's the middle of January, the Heart of Winter (for us normal northern hemisphere people anyway) and here in Texas where the weather's crazier than Interplay's public relations department it is currently a bone chilling 50°F
So, uh, how's winter for all you other people, who have exotic stuff like... i don't know... snow?
-
It's cold, very very cold.
-
5 C here. We had some snow during winter break and some of school cancelled, but not all that great.
-
Getting colder..but it's been moderately warm lately (50's and 60's) in East Tennessee where I live.
-
In the Southern Hemi (WA-Australia) here its overly cool, and its summer - its ok but the breeze at night is icey
-
Well its about 9 degrees F here right now, we consider it a heat wave it it gets to 20 right now which is kind of sad. We recently got a new superintenant who doesnt seem to cancel or delay us, sleet, snow, ice. Our bus has slid a few times because of him Hehe.
*goes to find a baseball bat*

Shut up.. Just shut up! Don't talk to me about the cold! AAARGH!
-
fine, but never talk to me about HEAT! (40°C summers)
-
Going to about 20F tonight.
-
I live in St.Louis home to the most manic depresive weather on the planet
-15 winters 45 summers
it can rain and the sun can be out at the same time, we can have five or six thunder storms go through in the same day, the temperature can drom 20 degrees in less than an hour,
ever had a 110% humidity? on a 45 day
(I'm trying to keep this all in metric for you... weird ... people)
-
We're currently at -17 Celsius. And dropping.
-
Let's see
*opens curtains*
Tis currently overcast and raining on this fair and sceptered isle. As if you hadn't guessed.
-
Wow, just have to be different once again. It's sunny here in England - with temperatures around the "T-shirt and sweater" stage rather than the "coat and scarf" phase (I don't have a thermometer handy).

Yeah, but in the Uk (or at least up 'ere in Scotland) "T-shirt and sweater" is anything above 10 degrees.
-
Or -5 in Newcastle

That sounds just like Eastern Texas weather. It's either hot, sunny, and humid, or cool, rainy, and even MORE humid. :P

w00t. Big chill forecast in the UK over the next week or so.... maybe I'm wierd, but I infinately prefer sub-artic conditions to the current poofy neither-cold-nor-warm-just-rainy weather.
-
isn't it always "neither-cold-nor-warm-just-rainy" on the British Isles?

Well, I wasn't going to say anything... :D
-
Grrr ;)
British weather has taken a turn for the worse lately, it's raining now (suprise) and the next weeks forcast is temps up to -5 degrees and snow. Great.
That said, its perfectly possible to go out without a top on (at least in the south) during the height of summer. So I guess the weather isn't all bad.
-
10F and it's snowing...sucks
-
well, don't worry. With global warming and all, winter will cease to exist in a few decades and we'll just have to worry about summer :p
-
Meh what global warming, its FREAKING FREEZING!
Tonight they're calling for 1-4 inches of the white stuff, tomorrow some snow showers, and sunday a winter storm is moving into the area and giving us "significant" amounts of snow and ice.
WHAT GLOBAL WARMING?
-
Global warming just means that the icecaps will melt, chilling the gulfstream and lowering the termperature of the Uk to about, ooh, Russian or Scandinavian levels.
