I uploaded the DDS texture set which includes 4096x2048 textures for the sovy. I mistakenly forgot to include this. The original uber set that came with it tops at 2048x1024. So if you want to make that hotrod videocard of yours to sweat, download this and extract it to your maps directory and delete the original DDS files and the "Sov Low.VP".

I feel humbled and confused. I took pride in my Radeon 9500 pro's ability to handle it. But I tested my card's max texture size using Random Tiger's modified Launcher and it says my card maxes out at 2048. =(
I guess my card down samples anything higher than 4096. Please post screenshots of this texture set with close ups. I wanna see what 4096 really looks like.

Do some darker shine maps for that baby and it would improve it even more ;)

All textures originally created by CHRONOCIDAL GUY from the bridge commander modding community. I just tweaked them to bring out the speculars.
The specular maps are actually pretty dark already if you open up the DDS file. Sing's screenshots have the light directly on them, but in an ever changing perspective of playing in game, its much better.

You set up the paneling wrong (no offense). The little panels are too shiny, while the big panels are dark. Makes it look funny, try reversing them and see what it looks like ;)
