I just got a Radeon 9600 but I'm scared to touch it because I might break something. Is Radeon really worth it? I don't know what I'm doing and can't understand the instructions real well. I'm really confused about it:confused:

Specifically what do you want to know? How to stick it in your computer? If it was a wise choice buying it (in which case it's unwise to have thought about it now)? How to handle computer parts in general?

Just put it in the slot where ur old vid card was. If ur old vid card is on-board, put it into the top slot, that's usually beige-green, and a little further forward than all the other white ones.

Look in the computer case, the video card should be in a brown slot that is set slightly further back from the back of the computer than the white PCI slots.
Disconnect the power and make sure you ground yourself out.
Disconnect the monitor cable, remove the retaining screw, flip the retainer clip at the back if you've got one, and gently remove the existing video card.
Take the Radeon out of the packaging and gently, but firmly push the card into the AGP slot until it won't go any further, gently rock the card from front to back if it won't go.
Reattach the retaining clip and screw, and reconnect the monitor cable.
Reconnect the power and start the computer. When Windows starts, remove the old drivers and install the new drivers, unless of course you're going from one ATI to another.

Sorry I didn't specify the help I needed better, but I'm finally finished. Thanks for the quick answers I really wanted to see this thing in action and it looks great!!:D I guess I made a little harder than it actually was!;)
