seems so.. be interesting to see what they'll do now...
they've obviously counted their chickens before they hatched i think.

LMAO, there goes Disney! :D
-
Maybe that's what they mean by Disney has "struggled with its own strategy for animation". :D
-
Animation is only really a small part of Disneys' income, though. Their parent corp. owns a bunch of crap, like American TV stations, movie studiios, etc.
Odd are Disney will either buy up a 3d studio, or form their own. Mehtinks they'd be wary of another partnership when they can;t be 'superior' partners.
-
this will be interesting to see...
-
Ouch!
So the only films Disney will release now are live-action and the Miyazaki stuff? Nasty....
-
No, they'll start doing their own 3D stuff.
And Miyazaki stuff are better than Disney stuff on any regard, btw.
-
Disney still have things like Pirates Of the Caribbean 2 to rake in cash with.

*grind grind grind*
That's Walt doing 75 rpm in his grave.
Disney as a force in the animated entertainment industry is likely hosed after this. Eisner, my friend, you have *#^$ed up severely.

Except that he's not really in a grave. Eisner's whole plan is based around the fact that his ice dispenser broke and Walt doing revolutions in his fridge has pretty much the same effect. :)

Good-bye Disney!
