Title: EMP bug?
Post by: Zarax on February 01, 2004, 06:48:22 am
Hello, while i was playing Sol: A History i noticed something strange...
When you are hit by an EMP missile your controls stops, and you are unable to move the ship at all, both thrust and maneveuring are stopped.
When i try to use the craft after the EMP effect passed i find that i cannot, and the only thing i can do is to sit there and wait for the mission to end (or better restart the mission...)

Nope, engines were OK, support ship reloads ammo but nothing else...

There's a flag in the EMP that a tabler can choose to put in, it knocks out all systems. Check the tables and see if that's it ;)

I remember getting temporarily paralysed by missiles when testing SAH, but I always came back after a while.

Really adds to 'Regicide', getting knocked out by a missile and watching the target move ever further and further away...
