Well..this is supposed to be some sort of high-tech sleek corvette....
I worked on her for 10 minutes, so dont start saying it's blocky... some parts will be aditioaly smoothed..
Oppinions?

That's got a lot of promise, actually. Lets see some more details.

It's too blocky and looks like a landspeeder. Or a blocky block fighter.
Maybe LLL will give it a name for you.

To me it looks like it could be a non-cannon Colonial escort vessel from the Battlestar Gallactica universe.

And yes it IS a corvette...pretty big guns...hehehe
Umm...somebody mentioned that there is a way to make barrels rotate on fighters...I wanna do that here...how to do it?
And on another note...is it then possible to destroy the weapon by destroying the barrels?

none really, those guns are not really logical.
how about the one on the right, make the guns a bit shorter (this far out only makes em vulnerable)
and that "lowering" on the top, just in front of what looks like the bridge, make it vertical missile launchers.
not really visible, just one of those rasters on the"ground".

Aren't there problems using primary firepoints on capship AI types? I'm sur tBP had that problem, at least.

That big gun only looks good on one ship (Orion phase2) TM (c) LOL! Sorry but Harmano beat ya to it guy...
Actually I like the idea of a Galactica destroyer (I don't know what the TIGER class looks like but you should seriously think of donating that to IP!
I say don't go overkill with the guns. Either have 2 on the sides or one in the center.. 3 are to many for such a small corvette (or rather the guns make it look tiny). Know what I mean?

Hmm...I'll probably cut the whole front section in two( right down the middle)...
And that aren't cluster beams, but Gatling Plasma Cannons... Kinda like Terran Huge Turret, only 50 times faster

IMHO the right version could become an excellent model for some interceptor fighter, as it looks already vaguely like a Horus.

If you want it corvette, take the center gun, and remove the two outer guns, then put the center gun off-center on the middle hull. Then add the verticle launch tubes, and a bridge ;)

really, i think it looks good as an ultra light cruiser/ultra heavy bomber. heavy weapons, flies like a brick, strong as a brick.

It doesn't remind you of a corvette, coause it has those miniguns... hehee....
Now...as I was saying...How to make the minigun barrels rotate when it fires? I know it can be done, but I forgot how....

But the model isn't converted (nor textured), but I believe it is possible to make a sub object rotate only when a certain weapon fires

Actualy I think that only applies to primary firepoints, and I can't think of any corvette guns that would function at all with that configuration. In short, no go for turrets.

Hmm... I think I have a solution.
I make a hollow Gatling Gun and set it to rotate. Inside it I place a turret with a FOV of 1. That MIGHT work....
If not, I can allways make it a primary, but what I need is a SCP flag that will prevent the gun from fireing if the gatling subobject is destroyed......
