The Metal Age is quite possibley the greatest game ever made. Fact.
-
*1 min silence for the memory of Looking Glass Studios* R.I.P.
-
Hear hear
-
Dude, Venom. Why didn't you tell me you were looking for it? I've got two copies just sitting here.

Hah! I knew you'd come running.

gotta love the argument between the two sets of archers while stalking on the roof tops.
and the word "taffer" 'course.
-
Congratulations friend
And now... GO and Play! :D
-
doing so :) but I've bought firewarrior as well, and I'm in another of my modellings sprees, so for now I've beat only the first level. Anyway, I like to take my time wih that kind of game :).
-
as it is the best tactic imho ^^
-
Haha, congrats! :D I love finding old games. I recently spent two weeks playing through this old RPG called Albion, that no one else seems to have heard of but I find immensely fun. Enjoy it, dude. ;)

That part was funny but annoying at the end, since the last guy left seems to know you're around and tries to attack you; I think his AI is still on the "alert" mode even after the fight.

Never played it, but I know Albion, it's with furies ( mwahahaha ), and it was full of ultrabright colors, and there were FPS scenes in it.
-
Yeah, that's right, six-person party with some pretty standard magic spells and weapons. But the story is expansive, that's what I like about it. (What are furies?)
-
furry with a typo :p
-
Oh, furries :p Yeah, uhhh, there are a few of those. But I'm not letting a discussion on my favourite hallowed RPG go down that path. :p
-
Hell, there's even half naked furries in this one if I remember correctly "hint hint" :D
-
Venom! No! "Chief... he's become... one of them! You'd know what he'd... what he'd want us to do."
It's okay, I won't punch your head open. :D
-
that point put aside ( btw, it is true, there's naked nurry chicks in there :p ), with old games like that, I'm always worried f XP will run then, and how...
See my strugle to make transport tycoon deluxe work ( it crashes after a few seconds in the menu, no matter what I do, and I get no sound ).
-
Actually, that's one of the troubles I had. I needed to run it from a DOS prompt within XP and install EMS every time I wanted to play the game. Bit of a pain, but worth it. :)
