I also emailed Gamespy with a copy of the picture, and a link to HLP... Hopefully they'll do something...

Most spammers spoof the send-from address,  I'm surprised you've never noticed this sort of thing before....

Oh, yeah, Gamespy's never been involved with obnoxious spam before! This just ruins their repuation- now nobody will trust them with their email address!

I mostly get spam from random names... they're probably hoping that I'll end up with a couple with names I coincidentally recognise, and will open them.

They got me with that before.. almost...
Fortunately "Rebecca Salter" hates being called Rebecca and always goes by Becky...

:yes: Good job on not being fooled. I get so much spam these days, they all get past the spam filters by using the same methods we do to get past the language censors on vB. :p
