Using the Format of Zylon's Beam FAQ, I've compiled a table of all of the beams in the release 1 weapons.tbl. Though I've subtracted the "damage/min" column because I believe it largely redundent, at least for my purposes. Those who wishing to make more campaigns may find this page useful.

I think some of those weapons aren't really made to do a certain amount of damage, but rather to do an amount of damage which will kill anything it hits, akin to the SDF-1s Reflux Cannon. At least that's my interpretation

Nah, it's only that there are some big badass ships with an huge load of hitpoint...
BTW... Isn't the SSilver unbalanced?
Compared to the terran, shivan and vasudan versions it's really weak, while the other beams aren't...

I didn't forget them, I omitted them. From the movie at the end of FS2 I don't really consider those beams so I didn't include them.

Are all of the values being changed? And if so when is release 2 coming out?

Most of the Terran ones are different. I don't know if all of them will be changed.

but of course hope this is not the case, Inferno is so far the best mod out there, it was already ok the way it was imho.

Well the weapons where the weakest part of the mod, so they'll take time to do.
The balance f the ships will be completed soon after
The music, mainhall, and head anis are done.
The personas for the EA require an new INF_Build
Icon set is basically done
AI is done I think
Cutscenes are a wip
Missions not started yet.
As for the manual, a FRED one may be done closer to release with a guide on how to use the new stuff, the manual we have no is an install manual, how to use the mainhall, and a guide to basic ships and weapons.

Trust me when I say the new balance is a lot more fun to play with. The SCP has given us so much to play with and we want to make a more fitting and exciting campaign to make use of it.
