I don't know how to set up a server, besides I don't think my rig is up to more than 4-5 people.

I'll try setting up a Listen server, give me a minute...

If I did everything right there should be an Onslaught server called "HLP Server" somewhere, password "freespace".

Okay, is it supposed to show up in my LAN section?

I could join you (you're talking about the demo, right?). CTF and domination are all I ever played in the last two UT games though. :D

bah, anyone slightly skilled in dodging can take down an Raptor with a few well placed AVRiL´s.

But a Manta will score you dozens of Vehicular Manslaughters. I just got a Holy Shit yesterday, by driving through the enemy base chock full of spawning players

I personally love the scorpion for its gibbing capabilties. Oh...and the Goliath is my new best friend (nothing like driving into the enemy base with a giant tank and taking out entire spawns.

I typically play Assault and Onslaught on Atari/Epic servers the August Knights clan server, and sometimes just whatever I find.

tell you what, how 'bout we set up a HLP fragfest, make a big annoucement, have someone set up a dedicated server, and do some onslaughting at some predetermined time.

Say, saturday. Pick a time, and let the heralding begin.

This demo runs surprisingly well on my somewhat aging machine; it's actually a bit smoother than UT2003 and much more so than U2, even with most of the graphics settings cranked up.

I've always been led to believe the GameSpy Arcade = spyware.

Have I been mislead?

BTW, Setekh, what are your specs?

Serious? Maybe I should download and give the demo a shot. ;)

Liberator, my box is a P3-500, 384MB SDRAM, GF4MX (64MB), nothing very flashy. :)
