Does anyone know how to save the email? I'd like to copy them to another PC, but ATM I have no idea where Netscape store them!
So does anyone know?
Oh and BTW my mom uses Netscape not me, I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. :ick:

I think you missed.. One forum down too far....
As for saving email... Other than cut/paste, I never figured out how...
-
Well thanks man.
But do you know what I'm saying?

Yeah, what's this doing in Art? ;) *moves*
Sorry dude, don't use Netscape. I use Eudora, in fact. :)

What OS are you running on that computer?
-
find your profile and save the "mail' folder
use google - it's explained all over the place

That's what you get for having multiple windows open. ;)

win98 (not second edition)

Thanks, I'll try that.

Actually, in Mozilla Mail you can go to the Edit menu > Mail and Newsgroup Account Settings > and then choose server ettings from the account you want to backup. It should have a "Local Directory" field at the bottom that shows you where it stores your email.

I'll check Netscape 7.2. ;)
I already use thunderbird. I lieks it. I would have my mom use it except her computer barely make the minimum requirements and it runs slow besides. :(

Yes, I'm quite aware you said Netscape, not Mozilla, but the 2 are virtually identical twins, and I didn't deem it worth pointing out to you, since you probably already knew that. :p

I knew/know that, once I heard a joke or something about the guys who make netscape about it being pronounced "mozilla" or something. :blah:
Anyway I have seen similarities between them, though netscape seems more like a stupid-enduser version of mozilla.
