The Armageddon is BIG...and expensive...
It can (barely) outrun a cruiser, flies not like a brick, but like a whole skyscraper...BUT...
It has 5000 shields and ultra-thick armour.
It has 6 turrets, one twin primary mount (that can mount the Redeemer anti-cap cannon) and 3 LARGE secondary bays (of which two bays can equipp the Judgment Day Missile [25000 dmg])
It's a anti-sath bomber...big and ugly to take out a big and ugly...
*notice the Nuke insignia? And b.t.w. - if you were wondering what's written on the sidewings..it's BOOOM!*:D
DON'T FORGET - THe texture in Modelview is far worse than the one used in game!

It is...I had no problem with it...the 6 is the maximum...
Polys? Can't you read...it's on the pic...556...

tho a little suggestion - you might not want to base an entire campaign round this lil beuty unless you add some more detail to it lol :p ;)

Aren't you risking a crash if too many subsystems on it get damaged? I thought a couple of turrets was the maximum you could safely have.

It's OK...ish. You need more detail, though.

*Sigh* Not another my bomber is slower fatter and bigger than your bomber! bomber. Why can't people just use fighter bombers? IE Instead of being a brick they are fighters with externaly mounted torpedoes.

or just make it so that it can only fire all the torps at once, after ages of locking time obviously
while the torps are on the fighter it is as slow as hell, but as soon as it fire the torps, it become fast and maneuvrable.

Except that it would be balanced with bad manuverability and paper thin armor.

Because the bombs will be so massive that you'll either (a) need a lot of fighters to destroy even a small capital ship, or (b) end up with fighters that are slower, weaker, and probably less maneuverable than dedicated bombers. Plus, the kind of bombs that this monster will carry are likely to be bigger than small fighters.

WEll.. I DID make a high-poly (and slightly diffferent version for Freelancer) so I guess I can upp the polycount here as well...
At least I it's farely easy to make textures for it...Righty...I'l spiffy it up then...
It's says Punisher Backwards coause I screwed the texture...And it IS UV mapped...
*Slap some textures on it in TS...render...edit render in Photoshop...-> texture ...UV map the ship with Lithium Unwrapper using the texture)..
And It has some issues...IT's so big most capships can't even launch it (fighterbays too small)... And even when they do, it's one at a time(MAX 2) (sine it's roughly the size of a fighterbay entrance)

Can anyone else see the difference between the new pics and the old pics?
I just had a discussion with Trashman, and he said he fixed the detail probs, but I can't honestly tell the difference :D

It's more smoother, has more polys and depresiion where the intakes and missile launchers are..
Granted, for the angle of the pics, you can't see too much...
