On the front of my White Label bundle of FS and FS2 is says: "the best space combat game in living memory" - PC Zone

So I decided to go search the PC-Zone site for the specific review and quickly found it, but it starts out with:
After sticking last month's free flappy bit of card to his monitor, Richie Shoemaker has been patiently waiting to play the game that goes with it. His patience was rewarded; yours will be tested. And being as I am, I want to know: What flappy bit of card?
-
				No idea.

For those who are too lazy to Google it:

there's sometimes a piece a cardboard stickied to the back of a magazine with some details of what's inside in it.. including some demo details...

-
It'd be one of those double size cardboard backings you get with mags sometimes (i.e. the mag plus CDs attached to it, all in a big plastic bag), with a piccy / ad of Freespace in it.

 I reckon.

I just thought it mighta been one of those monitor-mask thingies.

-
I'm glad we have come along way since this;)(http://www.computerandvideogames.com/screenshots_library/dir_12/vortal_pic_6259.jpg)

 It is.

Infact it's a list of all the FS key commands, neatly arranged for reference. You stick it to your monitor and bobs your uncle - quick reference card.

 I have one :thepimp:

but why would they give that out prior to the review?
-
It came with the demo I guess?

-
				*shrugs*

I reckon it was a piccy.

Thus, sticking it to the monitor = made it look like game

No? The actual background of the card was of an Apollo and an Anubis if I recall correctly. It's buried in a stack of paper right now but if I ever find it I'll scan it in for you.

 Ah.  Well, er, maybe so.
-
Well I've no reason to lie about it :p

-
No, I meant maybe it was that thing that they....ah, ne'ermind.
