I didn't think that this was going to be very good.  I mean the short is nice but there's not really enough to base a series on, but it's as funny as it is disgusting.

Well, tonight Chod and Gus the Robot traveled back to the begining of time and killed God, after they discovered the horrible future in which 6-of-1 is a lesbian, Chod demands they travel back in time and save God, but are killed when their previous selves when God jumps out of the way.  God then exclaims "Suckers!"

I cannot watch Tripping the Rift. It celebrates and encourages licentiousness, all manner of crudity, sexual promiscuity, murder, theft, and gluttony. Oh, and heresy.

It's just a lame attempt at using todays more adult-oriented culture to make money for 'TEH EVAL SCI-FY'.  I personally see no reason to leave South Park, which when watched close enough, has an underlying message; for this piece is ****.  Hell, its just one spoof-cliche after another, strung together with some horrible script that makes 'Beavis and Butthead' look witty.

Rant over, point made.

I thought the episode was pretty funny, although it was past my bedtime (grabs favorite blanket and sucks on it).

Is it something I'd commit myself to watch?  Probably not.  There's other things I rather be doing.

I was actually looking forward to this, but the end result was... meh. The animation quality actually seemed worse than the short that came out 5 years ago, the new Six character design doesn't even look like an android, and the writing was horribly uneven. Killing God in the first episode was somewhat daring, but then we got uberlame filler like the generic racial profiling jokes.

Hopefully it will last long enough for the writers to get their act together.
