What no jokes about beams, Sandwich?
Splinter, that was excellent. It was just what we needed to lighten the serious tone around here of late.

While carrying big objects with metal parts on top of a hill, during a stormy day? No, not weird, idiotic, maybe, but weird, no :p
-
God is subtle. He smites blasphemers not with lightning, but with stupidity, and then lets nature take its course. :D

Jesus: Hey! I can see my house from here.
Makes you wonder if the guy has played Warcraft :p
-
Warcraft took it from Hotshot, as far as I know.

along with just about all of those funny comments that you get if you keep clicking on the units.
Didn't remember that it was from Hotshots though.

You know, its sad when a we 'atheists' (as liberator called me the other day) know the Bible better than the religious sorts (I mean this to poke gentle fun, Sandwich, not to be mean). Beams and motes go together, Sandwich.
And, why beholdest thou the mote that is in they brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? -- Matthew 7:3
Of course, some could counter and say "and the Devil can quote scripture"... ;)
-
Ah. I've seen it before as log or plank, but I don't remember seeing beam.
-
*heh* I learned it as 'beam'. :)

Heehee - I got the reference when you made it, hence the ":p" at the end of my "beams of the cross" statement.
:p
Although I must agree with Goob - I've heard the 2 called splinter and log more often than mote and beam. ;)
-
Plank just calls up such a great mental image, though...

ROFL!

It just depends on your translation. Curse them languages, for we cannot interpret between them perfectly.
