That was pretty bloody great!

-
This is, quite literally, the best thing I've seen this year.
what's that tune in it (the,er, battle one)?
-
Read the credits, the theme of the second one is Requiem for a Dream.
-
Danke sehr. Forgot the read the credits the second time
-
sweet :D
-
Pt.1 was great, I thought they were going to try and make Mario look like a bugger but I was wrong.
-
It's war - but not as we know it!
-
Awesome

seen it. never herd it. sound is broken.
-
Thanks aldo. I found it with like, 10 seconds of searching so I just edited the post.
And I love the Requiem theme song for so many reasons.
-
hmm kewl... whats the soundtrack?
-
part 3 yet?
-
One of the coolest things I've seen yet.
I'm inspired to write something now, I'll be bawk...:D
-
Fan-tastic. See, this is the sort of thing we would have to live in a world without, were it not for the wonders of hard drugs and popular moviemaking.
I don't get it. How is it everyone else can find this kickass stuff on DeviantArt and all I ever turn up there is bad fantasy sketches and pictures of peoples' cats?

Part 4 is coming. And Part 5 is too.
-
Not as good as the prev. 2, but still good.
-
Good story but the use of music wasn't as strong in this one, too many stops and starts I think.

Intermediate one.
-
Yeah, but I guess that's what happens when you get to a slower scene.
Part 2 was the greatest so far...
-
I dunno, I think you could use a more ambient tune and 'swell' it in appopriate places.

-
Part II was incredible. I guess we're all suckers for the epic battle scenes. Very RotK that battle. :D
I really liked Part III though. I love that Mario failed with the 1-Up Mushroom. I do hope that the artist doesn't totally negate Luigi's sacrifice by bringing him back. Of course, though, he will. Ah well.
-
I don't think so, this was supposed to be Mario's downfall, so unless Luigi pre-empts Mario, Luigi isn't going to come back methinks.
-
WOW! That was good
-
I reckon everyone dies.....he kills King koopa, but destroys his castle at the same time - along with the Toad army and the Princess.
Hence the intro on the first bit.
Or he just loses the final battle............
-
I interpretted the beginning of Part I far more locally. I thought that Mario's "what have I done?" was in regard to hesitating and letting his brother get killed, then leaving Luigi's broken body on the field of battle. I figured the Flashback was over when Mario returned to the body.
-
you know what I bet everything we've seen thus far has been all in the flash back, only the beginning of the first one is real time.
btw I liked the first one

Well, yeah - I reckon he's running from some form of large explosion at the start (hence the redness). Or he loses (hence the red evilness)
-
I know everyone hates necromancy of threads, but I've just noticed Part IV has been up for a while.
Here it is (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/6843431/)
-
"Deviation not found."
-
I was just thinking about this
-
The link seems to work for me. I've changed it, so see if it works for you now.
@Bobboau
Yeah, I suddenly thought about this and googled it and saw the fourth installment.
-
Part IV was much better than Part III IMO...anybody catch part of the LOTR soundtrack in there?
