Cool! And I just took my first behind the wheel today.

I thought it was going to be something stupid some youth did.
-
Title sounds like it should be Gary Glitters' autobiography.
-
just remember, running over dirty hippies is legal :D
well i hope it is :nervous:
-
Also, despite what you've been told, they're not really laws. Think of them as traffic suggestions.
-
unless theres cops around, then you best follow them so you don't get tossed in jail
-
Watch it, Phreak. Us dirty hippies can **** your bumper up right good, and some pack heat.
-
Yeah!
*sparks his lighter at Phreak*
-

in Canada, new drivers arent allowed to drive between midnight and 6 AM..
-
Now that sucks balls.
-
I'm on 26 out of 50 required hours. Good on ya, I'll be on the roads in 4 months if all goes well too. :)
-
:shaking: :nervous: :shaking:
-
.....just starting driver's ed this month.
cool man
-
learning to drive and taking the test is a f****** ball ache.
No way I could do it again if I lost my licence.
-
I got my driver's licence at 31. December, at 6.30 am. I was quite tired, and of course I had no chances at all to benefit from that new card. New Year = wasted.
-
Congratulations. ;)
My brother failed the driving exam at least three times by now.
I am 18 next sunday, and I have not yet even tried to do anything to learn driving. I am concentrating on my language exam. Oh, it is a weak caveat. :)

That's what I always thought was rediculous - you take the test and if you don't crash or break the law they never pay any attention to you again. But some of the anchient bastards on the road near where I live are abysmal. And they still blame young drivers for being reckless before blaming old drivers for losing the ability to control a vehicle adequatly.
I doubt they'd let Petrach fly the Aquitane around the universe if he kept clipping it against Arcadias in his old age!

Tell me about it. *shakes fist at last insurance quote*
-
I start my on the road on monday, and I need like 25 more hours for my license. Not that much longer to go...
-
...Wow. Hearing all you complain is confuzzling me.
The hardest part of my driving education was being yelled at non-stop by my father for doing some trivial thing less than par. (Like he's such a good driver :doubt: )

:D:yes: Totally agreed, dude. Feels pretty harsh, but I'm quite happy to say that so far I'm a safe driver. The system's only gonna change when the individuals do.

I failed my driving test first time round, the examiner gave me a really crap corner on a busy road to reverse around. Officially, your supposed to only reverse if there are no other cars around, but when their all waiting behind you for you to reverse, it makes sense to go ahead and do it.
Anyway, aced the second time, and I'm probably the most senseible driver out of my friends.
-
Got it first time, I was more happy with the fact I wouldn't need going to the lessons anymore than with having the thing :p
