Pretty cool, too.

-
bloody hard, IMHO
-
It is almost as incontrolable than FreeSpace is when you are hit by an AAA.
I believe practice would be the key to expropriate its controls.
-
i got to level 4...
-
the physics are realistic though, too bad no 3d
-
So it's like Space Cab, but ****?
-
It's quite good actually. If it had a pause button, I'd try for higher than level 4... Curse that lack of a pause button!
-
Woohoo! I'm in the high scores! 25th place!
-
It'd be "quite good" if the gravity wasn't so excessively strong or the thrusters weren't ridiculously weak. You start falling, there is no way in hell you can stop before you hit the ground. And woe betide you if you turn to shoot at a turret...
-
He's right, its hard as hell to dodge turret fire and stop yourself from crashing and drop the plasma container into the teleporter.
-
67th place, you get more points if you hurl the ball
-
correction, 10th place
-
I took 40th now
-
moved up to 8th
-
6th :D
-
3rd, im getting good
-
This is gonna be a nice little competition through the whole HLP.
Don't you want to launch a championship? ;)
OK, sorry. I am a bit absent-minded tonight.
-
we should all play under the nema HLP, so that the high scored are flooded by us...
-
if i make first im putting freespace rulez in there
-
it limits to 10 charecters...
-
Then let it be HLP. :)
-
:D first place :D
ha:D
the trick is to make points, dont worry about getting to the end, i only got to level 4. my fingers hurt, im taking a break.
-
groovy. I've got something like this on my PDA. The only difference is that instead of trying to nab a ball and drop it in a teleporter, you have to pickup astronauts and then fly out of the caverns and back to the top of the level.
Very groovy.
-
one of theese days i need to learn to do flash
-
You mean Descent? :p

It's scary how many times 'nuke' is in the credits... I guess he truly was as bored as he said between FSO games.
-

Browser refresh, dude - it's the new thing.
-
that takes longer than just ramming into the walls 3 times
made it to 50th
-
Hey, that's a fun game. But I have to wake up for uni! Gah!
-

Not for me... and thats 56K... :doubt:
-
you make lots of points if you do stunts, like hurl the pod across the level really fast. its kinda like golf.
-
as long as it enters the teleporter though
I got to level 8 (i think... the yellow one) last time... put me in 51st place...
-
it also figures speed into the scoring calculation. the faster your ship is on release, the more points you make. lang ranke sniping of the turrets helps too. also note i only got to level 4.

well once it's loaded the first time, by just clicking refresh it should just pop right up, because it's stored in the cache.
-
infuriateing game... :doubt:
-
it would be nice if that ship had wings to genrate lift.
-
or could take a hit or two
-
right
-
WooHoo i'm #32
and #39
-
Cool game... nice one indeed
-
Oh, someone remade Thrust. Easier than the original though.
-
I used to have a game like this for my CD32 (yes, the Amiga peice of crap). Could have been called thrust, dunno. Anyway, you were a little ship, it was more about shooting the other player than collecting crappy balls.
It had some intresting features, you could change the gravity and the air resistance, between anything to simulating space, or swiming through soup. Tremendous fun.
Oh, and it had more thrust - which this needs.
