Title: how do ya do flash?

seeing as my web design class was a phucking joke, i rely on a much better source of information the geek filled hlp forum ;) .

if anyone can suggest some flash dev tools, i could figure the rest out on my own.

Macromedia Flash is _the_ dev tool for Flash, obviously. So if you're wanting to go into it properly then you can download a trial version at macromedia.com. However, there are a few other "baby" (as I term it) packages out there like Swish (www.swishzone.com). It's simpler to use, but as a result you can't do as much with it.

However for a real multimedia joyride, you sould write stuff in Macromedia Director.

Vyper is dead-on there, Macromedia Flash MX 2004 Pro (http://www.macromedia.com/downloads/) is the developers tool for flash. I would recommend using only this application until you are more familar with the basics of flash, programs like swish are only diversions :nod:

actually the clip drones on for an hour +, of nothing more than dudes going around town getting girls to flash for them for a second. its really boring...

that's why you've got to get the ones were there in a dorm room for a long period of time, those ones are pretty nice
