Only recently I noticed jaggedness on my wallpaper..
and before I never had this problem, I could stretch the image to any resolution and it would still look the same like below
(http://home.iprimus.com.au/nexus387/forums/before.jpg)
anyone have any ideas whats causing this?
-
what res are u running at?
-
both screens were @1024*768
-
what is the size of the picture?
It looks like the second screen is centered, and the first one is streched.

that's because the top one is cropped, the bottom one is not (note the taskbar at the bottom of the second one)
-
neither of them are centered, they are both stretched
-
the original image I have is 800*600 but both the screens above are 1024*768
-
Try changing the display mode to centered and then back to stretched.
Alternately, and probably better in the long run, is resize the image to 1024x768.

Thanx for the help but I wasn't looking for that sort of solution, the problem didn't exist before so I think its a display issue within WinXP or the Graphics Driver, I just thought someone may have experienced this problem before
-
i dout it would be cause by XP, what card do you have?
-
You may have accidentally enabled some web-desktop thing, which I know has caused problems for colour depth and quality of my background before - but that was back in the '98 days.
-
Some web desktop features are still enabled in XP so thanx to Setekh and everyone else for helping :D. All I did was uncheck the 'Lock desktop items' CheckBox

Heh, glad you got that solved. Silly Windows with strange fixes for even stranger problems... ;)

That pic is from the MG anim, it's going to get more or less redone at some point. But if you'd like, I can make you a special beefed up version :D

Looks great CF :D Now go render the entire anim with bob-LS style thrusters :D
*Only joking*

Thanks ;) any chance of also getting one with the original thrusters?

That looks real, real nice. Excellent use of blur.
