I hope it isn't as repetetive as the first one. It was a good game just didn't have too much to keep coming back to.

The lighting owns for a game, imo.

Besides, I grew up thinking stuff like this (http://www.bungie.com/products/marathon2/screens/mtwo4.jpg) was ownage.

Meh. The graphics are not that impressive (when compared to others [Halo 2 for example]). I'm still waiting for Halo 2 and SC 2.

I'm sure it runs fine due to the Xbox's excellent hardware. But yes it still looks quite excellent and is something I am sure to get.

Textures, models, lighting, scripting, sound, to name a few of the 'overhauls'.  That is just a render, but if you've seen the trailer with in-game footage, its obvious that, even that early in the dev process, there were massive changes in just about every field.

Sorry to raise a dead thread, but all ingame cutscenes for Halo utilize ingame graphics (halo always has), which means the graphics are identical to those that the player interacts with.
