i'm messy, i'll admit it.. but i decided to clean my room today, and well..
and you thought the couch contained ****loads of change
;)
*note: the small piles of change on the desk amount to $13 bucks exactly
-
 You're rich!
Actually, I just cleaned my computer table recently too. It's amazing the stuff you take. I dunno, the table almost looks wrong when it's so clean... must get more junk on table... ;)
-
now go to the arcade :D
-
Is it just me, or is that money huge?

Australian coins aren't that big... :D
-
chirst it's the size of my hand... O_o
:p
-
:D For the record, that coin is about 1.5cm in diameter (little over half an inch). :)
-
I found a 20 wedged between my burner and CD drive once....
Hell if I know how it got there....
-
Turnsky's an aussie? Who knew? :)

My change pot needs emptying. Not onto my desk, unfortunately.
-
BUY DRUGS!
-
I am so bored:
It fell over soon after being caught on camera. That's only half the change I've got lying around. Guess I should have gone two-towers-esque.

Give it to homeless guys, they don't care that its in such small denomination. Money is money,

My Desk, Atleast part of it.

And tomorrow i'll have this monitor:D
21" Inch CRT
-
Umm... My computer desk is actually fairly clean. Don't use it very much though, as it has an old, beat-up 15" monitor and a computer with a Pentium MMX 233 CPU. The family computer desk is a mess, and that's the one I use the most :p
-
pffffffft
i filled up one of those massive bottles up last year to about half way. About £60 worth of bronze alone, 60 pound coins and some notes.
Hell dont even know what silver i had...
-
About a year ago my desk would be filled with plates and breadcrums.
So it's abit cleaner then it used to be. But since I have more desk space it takes longer to fill it up:D
-
Hmm... I think that beats my $160 worth of quarters.
-
I just got a new desk, so its pretty much spotless in comparison to the way it was before...
-
Odyssey, that coin tower is the most fantastic thing I've ever seen. My hat goes off to you, sir :D

Oh... he's from...er... THERE... ;)
Seriously, I had no idea. Looks like I'll be joining a nice crew when I move. You lot, and my in-laws will be pretty much the only people I know when I get down there.
-
your moving to Australia?
-
Um. Yeah. I've mentioned this dozens of times before. :D
My wife's an aussie from Adelaide. We'll be moving back there in the next year or so. Depends, really, on when we can afford it. Being jobless is NOT helping the finances.
-
must have missed all the other times :)
and sorry to hear you're still without a job...

Not even **** retail work?
-
Its an interesting thing KT: if I go get a retail job or whatever, I'll make LESS than I make on unemployment, and I won't get any benefit from it.
The system in this state encourages you to go for only jobs within your skill area. Its odd.

That's.. erm.. interesting. Although hardly suprising. All the more power to you I suppose.
-
Missed your responses, KT, Steak.
Steak, I'll make sure you know when I get there. :)
KT: I don't much like the system, but I understand it. I may not go for fast food jobs, but I do go for pretty much any job I can do within my industry. I'm a highly skilled, very qualified, extremely well trained, and very experienced systems administrator. What I'm NOT is a programmer. So I go for all sorts of sysadmin jobs, tech managment jobs, tech support jobs, etc.
I'd feel bad about not going for the burger jobs, except all I'm getting back from the state is the money I paid in for the express purpose of covering my ass in a situation like this (unemployment compensation here is paid into by the employee as well as the employer and the state).
If this goes on for much longer though, I'm going to be seriously considering going back into the Navy, or going back to school full time and collecting on my veterans benefits.
