Well it's nearly done. Around 1200 polys with those few laser cannons you can't clearly see. I gotta do some adjustments on those (which are not even visible in the shots) and on the texture. Need to fix some texture stretching.  Anyways, I think it looks ok mostly... except it kinda looks bland from the top view. GTCa Tanager is what I'm calling it. :P

Yeah, that's a really nice design - for some reason, it just seems more original than a lot of the stuff I've been seeing floating around here and there in past months. Very nice. :)

from the top it looks like a fish
from the bottom it looks like the halo marine dropship O_O

In other words - A+ Material!

That's awesome, VERY nice design.  What does GTCa stand for?  Carrier?

Here we go again.

Whatever Solid Snake says no one argues. Okay? :D

The ship itself looks good though

I wasn't aware that asking a question constituted an argument. :D

Wasn't having a go at you. It's just that questions like that degenerate into a debate about what the designation for a carrier should be.

Whoa! Nice, IMHO pretty much in the same "cool ship"-series as GTCv Reyena.

Holy ****!

Don't ask me why but that thing has me wanting to use a :jaw: and I never use :jaw:.

If that thing had custom textures, it'd be damned near perfect. Lets see some wireframes, please? :)

Never been a fan of that Hecate texture, but very nice otherwise.

WOW:yes::D

This sets the standard of Terran ship modelling. It looks realistic and very original.

Look out HLP, the Raynor just gained a competitor.

it needs custom textures.

Not necessarily...
Hecate/Iceni textures would fit pretty well imho

Imho, all capships need custom textures. The V tiled ones suck, honetly.

Me likes. But the screenshots are too dark.

Overall, it looks very swanky, but I really don't like the back end. The engines are OK, but what really bothers me is the mid-back section, the sort of flat shape thing. It doesn't go well with the ship which is obvioiusly a bulky and hefty design.

Whoa!  Really nice. :eek2:

Can you try retexturing it as Vasudan?  It looks very Vasudanish to me.

Now THAT looks like a ship you'd want on your side when facing the Bad Guys ;)

The texturing doesn't quite look right to me personally, but the shape, and 'stockiness' of the model is brilliant :)

That's one weird-ass bird.

I agree with that bird being wierd-assed.

there are no intersecting polys on it if FS still has that z buff thingy problem.

I totally agree. I need some custom textures.  I'll wip some up and see how it looks.

From the side it bears some resemblance to an Aeolus.

That's got to be the second ugliest ship i've ever seen.

...but i guess that's just my opinion, it's a good ship, as in, there's nothing bad about it.  It's just horribly ugly to my eyes!
