Wow, just wow. Buy this and realise that all the money you spent building a nice computer was well spent.
I'd love to talk more about it but I just can't stop playing it.

Far-cry, it ain't exactly friendly to low-end machines.. to really have it shine, you need some serious hardware... which i don't have..
great game nonetheless..

*Has demo
*Will play demo after Pandora Tommarrow demo
-
demo was good some point I will buy FarCry
*Will play demo after Pandora Tommarrow demo
*Has full Pandora Tommarrow (XBOX) :p *
-
Actually, at this point I'm glad I don't have it.
*Has soooooo much homework this weekend...
-
The demo(s) don't really do the game justice, they are buggy and unoptomised (though I still played them to death). This is the first time in years I haven't moved in over twelve hours due to a game.
I love this game.

The Far Cry one or PT ?
-
Someone give me the specs for it?
-
Just got thru it! :D Man what a sweet game! I mean seriously SWEET game! Some of the levels in it seriously remind of some of the pics I saw of Doom3!!! It ran fine on my rig ofcourse! :pimp: but still, when alot was happening it started to slow down. I mean this game had it all. Great physics engine, bump mapping, great lighting and shadows. Everything! I mean, I literaly pissed in my pants the first time I was in the bunker and those Trygens started to attack. Bloody hell. A dark room, the lamp moving. Then you see it, then it goes into the shadows. A growl. Then in flies at you. You empty your M4. It keeps flying but then collapses at your feet. you wipe your sweat away, turn and get your face eaten off by another one. Oooooh....
*Goes back to playing again.*

Well, I have my Xp2400+ running at around 2.2 gig with 1 gig of RAM and a Radeon 9800 pro 128 and a nf7-s mobo. All cooled, not in the High specs I know, but it ran really well for me. Though I played in 1024*768. I still got my lousy 15" monitor...

it actually takes up 3.03 GB, but four is the recommended, 'cause it's a nice round number.
there's alot of game, remember?..
and the install's spread across 5 disks.

It's all game and it's definitely worth it.
I've got a Athlon XP2100, 512 mb SDram, and a GeForce 4Ti4200 64mb DDR and this game runs well and looks nice.
-
my ram's definitely the issue here..
*makes a note to order some off the 'net*
