This is a teaser trailer designed to show off some of our new weapons. It's a modified mission 14.

It's about 2 minutes long with no sound.

Fileplanet *ick* evil.
Please provide some mirrors :)
-
Come on Ace, swollow your pride and use Fileplanet. Finding a good mirror to host a 30Mb file is not easy.
Just the same, "My poor bandwidth!"
EDIT: SWEET! I love it! It actually looks like a capship battle now! I especially love all of the anti-fighter stuff the Raiden is shooting, makes it look like FS battles should have to start with.
-
Fileplanet hates my Mozilla. Feck!
Edit: Found out what the prob was.
Looks sexcellent, I can hardly wait.
-
Well I don't have any other webspace big enough to put it up on.
Yeah multiple Raidens can make a very interesting battle with tons of shots being fired :)
-
Nice! About time for something like this. :)
But I thought there was only one Odin?
-
Most Terran fleets have an Odin for 'heavy-duty' work. The superdestroyers only participate in key battles since they can be easily destroyed by a mass bomber attack, which they have no chance against. And supporting an Odin with the right defensive measures requires several anti-fighter warships and fighter wings, so it isn't feasible all the time. :)

I'm sorry, my mind must be completely in the gutter...
-
If there is few Odins in terran fleet, there is a chance that EA have more than one Nemesis??
Do you have something for Vasudan super destroyer, screenshots and information??

So in some respect it's replacing the Warlock then? If so, then good; that was never one of my favorite models.

Warlocks are mostly used as fleet flagships, and of course have their carrier duties. When it comes to the big fights, the Warlocks usually stay further behind the front lines.
Especially when dealing with the Shivans.
-
Awesome. Welcome to the highlights. :)

No, each fleet is still centred around its Warlock/Tanen.

Nice Trailer:)

For the love of ****ing God: Don't use FilePlanet!
Someone with the vid get on IRC and DCC me the vid. I'll stick a mirror of it on the PenguinBomb server.
-
Umm we have to use fileplanet :p
-
Even Swooh is better than FilePlanet.
-
I'm not one to whimper, but it's completely broken on this side of the globe. I can't even log in...
-
teh big question: how did you record the in-game footage?
-
Fraps
-
No kidding? That's a much better framerate than I got.

Depends on your system, I got bad framerates with my old PC.
-
Cool Vid
-
So does this mean that we are close to seeing another, cooler INF release?
-
Not really, that's why it was a modified m14 :)
We thought it was about time you saw some of the new stuff in action.
-
Well we had to hope. Looks really cool though.
-
I do have one question about something I just noticed: does the EMP effect of the EA's anti-fighter cannons screw up AI? Or does it just mess up human players?
-
I don't think EMP has ever affected AI ships, period. However those EMP blasters also do some damage, so they're not completely useless against them. :)
-
all it prevents the AI from doing is they lose lock and regain it after a certain time. EMP shockwaves also stop bombs in their tracks
-
How hard do you think it would be to make EMP effect AI as it does the player?
