It will be buggy as hell and require computers from another dimension to work properly. Update hell will last until 2006. Graphics will be disappointing. There will be no CS 2, because it will licensed or something.

I'd guess..?

Am I the only one still holding out hope that DNF will rock?

As for HL2, I actually like the delay. If it werew released in Spetember, as it should have been, there is no way that I would have been able to play it on my computer, atleast not with all the splendid graphics running. But in a few months time, right around the expected release date of Doom3 and Halflife 2, I will hopefully have something a bit more modern to run them on.

I've got a whole list of games I want to play once I upgrade my computer.

Personally I'm looking forward to Halo 2 far more than Valve's offering; Halo had the strongest narrative of any game I've played, so I'm eager to see what happens next.

Hopefully HL2 will stand on other merits, as its revolutionary graphics and gameplay seem less so given the recent release of Far Cry. And Far Cry rocks. :)

Xbox :p
same goes for Halo2 and Doom3 :p
Which one will be better? Dunno, don't care, will have the three of them :p ( or two, since with a friend of mine we're sharing game expenses: "hey, you get HL2, I get Doom3, when you're done with it, let's switch" )

Wow, where you get your information? Your like way off bud. This will work for all computers, atleast the mid range types, unlike most games that require gaming monsters to run.

Plus it will be the most innovative game our time has yet to see.

As for Buggy, thats a fact of life. Name one game without a bug.

Pong.

Just because the source got hacked dosent mean that they have to completely rewrite the stolen parts.  They obviously saw the need to delay and used a common occurance with a widely known company as an excuse for the delays.

At least Bungie isnt making stupid excuses for their delays.  The reason Halo2 is taking so long is that they are waiting for HL2 to start their ad campaign.  Marketing basics when dealing with these types of products.

You loon. One of the major selling points of HL2 is that it WON'T require bleeding-edge hardware to run well. Just like HL1, remember?
