I'm assuming he means Kazan's PXO dealie.
-
He's still not released the code for that, has he?
-
Hell if I know. If he hasn't, then it'll be quite a suprise finding out what this thread is for.
-
The poor bastard. He lives in Little Rock, Arkansas.
And NeoTrace seems to think the server is owned by some newspaper.
-
...............Okay, I know it's filtered, but:
16959/tcp - filtered - subseven
27374/tcp - filtered - subseven
-
how nice of telling him that he is infected instead of just wiping his HD......
-
He's not neccessarily infected.
Filtered means something is blocking Nmap from checking it out, but it seems a little odd that it's only those that're being filtered.
To me, that would suggest they've had problems with it in the past.
Or that there's a copy of SubSeven on the system that's ignoring Nmaps queries, possibly because it uses encrypted access.
-
I'd say it's a network router. Possibly a firewall 'puter.
-
this thread was a misunderstanding.
we couldn't get his multiplayer working so oddly enough it started working when he put in his IP address:confused:
Don't worry about it... he meant we had a game up:)
-
what are you guys talking about? My IP or someone elses' comp?
All I did was create a server/game and jdjtcagle and I played on it.
Sorry for the confusion...I'm not very good at writing on boards.
:wtf:
-
There talking about that you said you had IP which was not implemented.
I was also ignorant on this information and when I'd said go ahead and try it, I had also thought it worked... But all that really happened is that something clicked and it started reading your server, had nothing to do with your IP:)
-
check your PM's
-
he was talking about how that IP was infected with a virus.....
-
you mean Anon was talking about that
-
yeah.
-
hmm... so his IP has a virus on it
-
Yes..........Well, probably.
There are two ports identifying as running SubSeven, which is a trojan horse program. I'm not to familiar with the specifics of it (I'm more of a BO2K man, and the Sub7 control software is almost always loaded with other viruses) but it's basically a remote control thingy. Lets people delete your files, run things, take control of your mouse etc.
-
that doesn't sound good at all
-
Meh. It could still just be the firewall being very, very silly.
Still, he should run a virus scan.
-
I ran a virus scan and I had no infections.:D

now, an0n, could you read your PM's, and finally rename forum/FTP instead of giving advice on a few years old virusses to noobs?
