Title: Crash To Desktop!!!

I get random crashes to my desktop playing FS2. Y the heck is it doing that?:wtf:

Any suggestions?

I replyed to your pm and it said your were full so it went to your email.

CTD happened this time in briefing, and again in flight (no target).

you are useing retail FS2 (not FSO)?

If you have Windows XP, try setting FS2 to run in Windows 98/Me Compatability mode. Dunno if it'll help, but it's worth a shot. :)

I had the same problem with FSO if anyone remebers, a new video card fixed my problem.

How would I have FS2 run in other win. than my XP?

I just got the GForce FX5200.


When I crash, no error messages are displayed and as far as MODS go, I do have a few backgrounds I got off the net.

So, I dunno wtf is going on.

Sometimes reinstalling winsh*t or FreeSpace does miracles :P Try to shutdown all p2p while u r playing, and antivirus too. Sometimes it helps :D

I'm stumped my new card is a GForce FX5200 Ultra and I can run it just fine under XP.
