Didn't scare me at all. :)

1) I knew it was a joke

but more importantly

2) I recognised that the text didn't correctly describe my hard drive contents :D

I suppose you've never seen the Command Prompt then? *Slaps silly.*

The command prompt is a half done dos implimentation, the main thing that sets it apart is lack of VESA and sound drivers. That's why most of your games will not work, however some will. (I ran Full Throttle on this PC without SCUMMvm, but it was devoid of all sound)

i have seen the command promt, and i use it daily.

i just know it can't really delete anything that even looks like a system file.

This was most definately the worst virus scam ever. At least they could've made it full screen. And change the font to actual DOS font... And use correct commands... and... well in short: it sucks  :p

Should've used "format C:"

hehe....I remember my brother reformatting every PC in a shop after he got told off for playing with one of them by one of the staff.

And when they put the 'cd' command it should actually be followed by a directory and not two dots :p Typing cd twice was a bit redundant anyhow. :p

He typed it twice to go to c:\. Just type "cd c:" and your there in one step :p I hate redundancy.

I agree with you there. It was a rather silly way of changing directories :D
