Predicts (and hopes) that this sinks without a trace like the remakes of Coupling, Red Dwarf and One Foot in the Grave.

That said the Americans have started to like really weird comedy now thanks to shows like the Simpsons, Malcolm in the Middle etc. so this could catch on.
