Whilst I'm spamming with links to nifty stuff, how about a real version of the motorcycle in Akira (http://www.itmedia.co.jp/lifestyle/articles/0404/02/news040.html)?

The wheels seem kinda bulbous, were they thinned down however... :thepimp:

Yeah, but in this case, its a real motorcycle made by a real motorcycle company. Its not a kitbash.

I have no idea who or what Akira is, but that bike is teh 5w33t. I shall have to get one if and when I graduate from the naval college, for the purpose of looking cool :nod:

Bof, I've seen a much better looking version ( was made for the promo of the film, iirc ), with the decals and all, and w/o that toy look, as you say. Even kept the link, actually ( http://www.burningart.com/meico/motoproto/akira.html ) but it gives me a 404 now :(
