Title: How do you make LODs with MS3D?
Post by: Unknown Target on April 07, 2004, 04:02:38 pm
I can't seem to figure this out! Do I just clump everything together, and name it LOD 1, LOD 2, etc, in the model, and make it a seperate sub-model?

How do you do LODs????

Until you get better advice (i.e from someone who actually uses MS3D) I'd make the models seperately and sort out the hierarchy in TS.

Thanks kara. :) Anyone here use MS3D and can give me a direct approach, though? :)

I don't think MS3D is very popular amongst FS2 modders UT. In fact apart from you I can only think of a couple of other people who I've seen use it.
