I need some ideas for a boy name. Why? Because I find out in a month if my girlfriend is having a boy or girl and I need to have some good ideas of what to name my kid.
Any ideas?
Note: They have to be cool name, not normal names like Bob or Joe.
PS:
I allready came up with a girl name: Scarlett
-
Nathan
edit: Seven :D:D

Oh and, if you pick one of these, be sure to tell the little bastard how he got his name.
:D:D
Can you say childhood trauma.
-
- "Daddy, why did you call me (insert awful name here)? Why not something normal?"
- "HLP made me do it."
-
Just please, not Jean Luc, or Sheridan, that's just too cliched and your child will hate you for it ;)
-
Bork. The Indestructible.
Oh, and congrats.
-
Just because I am thinking about one does NOT mean that I get the final say. I am sure my gf will have some interesting thoughts on what to pick.
-
Lex.
-
Mr T
-
lol
LEX-LUTHOR - The kid will want to take over the world from the day he is born!
-
Brogan, Emmett, Terry, Garrett, Liam, Milo, Rory, Ryan.
Just browse some lists online.
And crongrats to you and your lady.
Cheers!
-
Alex is better ;)

You need to think of something that will sound good with a 'sir' in front of it

 :ha:
Someone in my family with a 'sir' in front of their name?
:ha: :ha: :ha:
On a side note, I am going to have alot of fun with this kid. I will be sure to tell him stories of the past battles between Vasuans and Humans and when we had to team up to fight off the bigger powers...
He is going to get messed up! :D

-
I like Zaphod, but I dont think the kid would like it when he read the book....
-
Aken! name him after Bosch!!!!
-
Bah! Name him 'Kyo'! Why? Because I said so...
Aken would have to be a close third, after Wolf. Always cool to name kids animals. :p
-
I wanted ALF, but that was shot down...
-
Petrarch!!! :D Then force him play the game!!

-
Garrett, I'm rather fond of that one.
-
Hey, congratulations. :)
I favour John or Michael myself. Simple, but Hebrew derived names are just so cool...
Don't forget to consider 'Samus' for a girl's name. :D
-
is Jeeves out of the question?
perhaps Qubert?
well, anyways, I stick by my original suggestion of Nathan.
-
Oh MAN! I would love Samus.... Its just that Scarlett is my first girls name, no matter WHAT.
Samus would work for my second girl though...
-
Jeeves! Heh, that would be a great name, sure brings back some memory... maybe I should wake Jeeves up from his cryogenic sleep and get him back on the news reel. ;)
Hahah, don't worry, if you tell us when you're having your second daughter, we'll be sure to remind you. In fact, so you don't forget, I'll give you a new title... :D
-
lol! I love it!
And the cool thing is that I just told my GF about Samus and she likes it too!
This is interesting...!
-
I always liked the name Kyle, and Jeremy... Caleb is a pretty cool one too... ;)
-
are you serious? That would rock! Like that guy who changed his name to Optimus Prime :D:D
I think Scarlett is a fine name, not your run of the mill stuff. I'm also partial to Mallory for a girl's name, but Samus would be incredibly cool.

Caleb always make me think of that wierd little kid from the series American Gothic. I saw maybe 3 episodes, but I instantly assosciate the name with it, and that guy who played Gideon in B5: Crusade was also in it.
I'm sure you were all just itching for my opinions on the matter, so I decided to indugle you
-
another vote for Aken

I don't know, I just like that name a lot. But that's french, granted.
Oh, and no matter what, if I have a daughter someday, I'll call her Léa :)
Actually, just checked what Alphonse means on google: means noble, swift and is of german origin, actually.
-
Alexander is my personal fav. :)
Just don't call him Lucifer :drevil:
-
Richard or Arthur are the names of great kings.
-
Kenny
-
he would have a terrible life being called like that:
OMG!!! They killed Kenny!!! :D
Short life, granted.
-
hehe, indeed :D
ok maybe err... Thomas or Timothy... heck give him a Finnish name like Matti or Pasi or... Jani :p
-
Sue
He'll thank you for it in the end.
-
Sue? Let's sue Sue!
Either that or he'll become a ruthless lawyer :p
-
My name is Sue! How do you do?!
-
John
Alexander
Ma pa'
Oopsies (:D, j/k ;))
Petrach! :D
Or how about Loukakes, or Louie for short? :D
-
I like the Aken idea. :p
-
Might have already been asked, but what's your surname?
-
:D Glad you like the new title, ubermetroid. It just fit so well. ;)

Yea, that would be cool. But the Queen says no. Not at all. No way!
I like Michael too, its my dad's first name, but the name is reserved for my 3rd kids middle name. (named after gf's and I's parents, by age. (4 kids total.) Goes Lee, Anni, Michael, Sandy)
Here are the names that we both do like though.
Ridley
Kennedy (Nick name - Ken)
Hunter
Owen
Reese (from T1)
Logan
-
As in Jake Logan?
-
Redship Rory!
uhhh...anyway, there are five votes for Aken, so i think you'd better go with that.
-
Geoff is a good name, but only really for small animals and inanimate objects, ie Geoff the Rock, Geoff the Toad...
Peter is always a sturdy and reliable name, i've never had any problems with it.
-
I got an uncle named peter, so that is out.
Aken makes me think of American Idol, so I really dont want to think about it.
Oh, and Logan as in Xmen's Wolverine. But thats cause I want a strong name for my first born male. The other males will have wimp names if my gf has anything to say about it.
-
Gerald, and if its a girl, Geraldine.

Almost certainly. Game developers put a lot of thought into the naming of their characters - check out all the links a company like Bungie has made with its names.

Dude, congrats. I'm a bit disappointed in Scarlett, though... what happened to Samus? :D
-
Congrats!
How about, 'Current father of not samus' as a new title for he?
Hm... based on his initials, and strength, he might turn out to be the next Triple-H, only with L... :p
