and the cast page (http://www.innocence-movie.jp/cast/index.html) not that you can read the text, but you can see some familiar faces, no?;)

If that's the trailer I'm thinking about, you see only Batou.
Btw, it's old news, the movie is already out ;)
as for the cast page, the 5 first characters are in both the first movies and the series, usually, it's Kusanagi the main chcaracter, but from what I've seen of that new movie, Batou is the lead character, this time.

Yeah as far as I've understanded it aswell, Batou would be the main character this time.

Considering it's Batou and Togusa, I'm guessing it might take place after the events portrayed in the GITS movie.

No, it's in the stand alone complex universe: the series happens after the first movie, but also considers the puppet master case never happened, so she never merged with it.
