Since i put in the enhanced fs2 files, i havent been able to see the big green jump node thingy in maps. Not that big of an issue. Or is it suppose to be missing?
Also, Im using the tga planet pack from wiki website, and i noticed that planets with nebula behing it have a black box around the planet.
Also, when i start the game, i get a bunch of error boxes for almost every flag i have enabled.
Error: Unrecogzined command line parameter -spec
File:E:\Languages\Visual Studio Projects\Visual C++\fs2_open\code\Cmdline\cmdline.cpp
Line: 638
Call stack:
------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------
thats just one of them I have like 3 or 4 more. -glow, -ambient_factor, pcx32 and jpgtga. The game still works fine though.
lol and one last thing, is there a flag i can use that will enable all the fighters and weapons so i can select any one i want for the missions? Sorry bout the size but i figure one post is better than 20

It sounds like you're using an old build, try using the latest one.
BTW, welcome to the board!

Hmmm, there haven't been any new builds lately. Is this a sign that 3.6 is approaching!?!
Are Taylor and Bobbau collaborating?!?
Will they put any of my stuff into the .vp's?!?
The suspence is killing me

I've always wanted to do this (never got one myself)

THere are Flamethrowers under your seats, though sometimes they are filled with water. In the event of this occurance, stay away from the admin weapon lockers. There are old-school shotguns provided for your convenience.
I strongly advise against traversing the air vents. If you choose to ignore this and come across a large, five-legged insectoid creature, throw it your lunch or a large steak and hope that it's Carl. If it's not Carl, then run.
Did I forget anything?

There isn't any flag that will let you use all the ships and weapons but you can alter the missions to let you do so in FRED. It will only take you a few seconds to do.
You'll probably need a copy of VPView to do that. My FAQ has full details on where to get it from and how to use it.

Or you can just click "Weapon Loadout" in the editors tab and select which ones you want available :p :D

And how is he going to get hold of the missions without VPView? I think you've just described exactly what I told him to do.
Sure he might have stumbled across a full set of the missions and avoid using VPView that way but that's somewhat unlikely from someone new to the community :p

get an up-to-date version of my stuff too, on my website (http://www.penguinbomb.com/lightspeed)
the black box problem sounds like you've got an ancient ancient build of my planets :)
-
Thx for you're weblink lightspeed, one question though the Sun zip doesn't have an install readme... where do i put the sun files? For now im gonna throw em all over the place, but let me know. Thx.

p.s. The nebula background sets.... theres 5 zips. Use the latest zip or get them all?
-
Get them all, and use the stars.tbl from the last set.
