It's a couple months until the big Christian music feastival called Sonshine here in little ol' WIllmar, MN. And I'm wondering if there is ANY off chance that any of you HLPers are going.
(site if you're wanting more info)

Would, but I'm busy looking for a job and besides, do you know how much it would cost to drive up there, nevermind the tickets. I'm not really a big fan of concerts anyway.
-
If i went it would be wiht the largest anti-sound system ever created
-
Killjoy. :p

You're making the rest of us Atheists look bad. Stop it.

I'm Christian, but I can't stand "Christian music". Always sounds so pathetic and whiny.

And they call me a bigot. :P Oh the irony.

The vast majority of Christian music plays like a sick amalgam of church hymns mixed with modern instruments. And needless to say, I have serious problems with some slackwit singer ramming 'The Word of God' down my throat. Though I probably wouldn't go to quite the extent of muffling it that Kaz there would...
-
Don't like it? Don't listen.
-
I generally don't. :p
-
Wonder how big a magnet I'd need to **** up thier speakers.... hypothetically of course ;)
-
Honestly, "Christian Music" is around 50% of my total uh.. angst.. against the whole religon. But if you like it for some reason, all the more power to you.
-
I wasn't asking you to go. I am wondering if any of you are planning on going. So don't go into all the **** about cramming and throats and stuff, m'kay?
-
I just want to blow **** up, namely the sound system... 'cos it'd look cool.... whatever, my creative talents are underestimated. :p
-
Shrike: it was a joke, i wouldn't actually do that - and if libby and the others don't realize that they're stupid
as long as they're not trying to push it into the government i don't get a rats
-
*goes off to arrange a Slayer concert in Willamar, MN*
-
Well, I went and saw Jars of Clay at Sonfest down in Aus a few months back. Sorry, don't think I'll be at this one. ;)
-
hey, Kaz, I'm not sure if you'r plan would work anyway, I don't know if anti-sound works on anti-music.
-
Anti-sound? Anti-music? Bah!
I'm going, and I'm gonna bring some anti-matter. Kingdom come for the whole family! :drevil:
Note: The Ace Foundation does not condone the use of anti-matter on the surface of planetary bodies. Rumors do indicate however that the Christian Coalition's "Let's Rock Orion" concert held in low Earth orbit did vanish after a localized gamma ray burst. It was later attributed to an act of God.

:D
I prefer pagan musics, songs about Belzebuth playing happily in the woods nice nice succubi playing harp in the mud. And mushrooms.
