What ships are those from?
-
Babylon 5 I do believe.
-
Minbari IIRC.
-
It needs some PS tinkering. The lights (background and foreground specularity) don't look right.
Try adding some lighting effects in PS to make the background lighting bleed over across the silhouette of the Cruiser.

atleast say SOMETHING (53 views 4 replys)

a sharlin war cruser and nial fighters, I made those ships for TBP interestingly enough
-
Nice . The grain effect gives it the impression like they were looking from inside another Sharlin War Cruiser.
I agree with an0n, the lighting doesn't look right.
-
Despite the (minor) issue with the lighting, it looks great. Almost FMV quality.
-
Babylon 5 = Good.
What else is there.
-
Stargate? Enterprise?
-
The best thing I like about this render, Ashrak, is that it's very well composed. There's a story behind this. I just wish I knew more B5 so could understand it better. :D
On that note, the only thing I find about the way it's lit is that the Minbari ships are not lit with a cooler shade of blue than the star seems to be giving off. Apart from that, I think it's great.
-
His biggest problem is the light is coming from the fore-center and his ships are lit from the aft-left.
-
Seems like the lighting is acceptable (to me) in the grained piece.
Good pics, though! :)

Okay, Stargate's been pretty fine until they started falling back on cliche's the size mt. everest (*ahem* supersoldiers *ahem*).
And you should be ashamed of even mentioning enterprise.

you might want to ditch the noise filter. noise filter = eeevil to nice renders.
