The VBB has been down for a long time, the VWBB seems to be down for the time being ;) (sorry I had to say that before someone else did)

Yeah I don't know what happened...

Probably the renewal on the domain is up again.  Not sure if that will get paid for again by Remmy or not.  TF hasn't paid for that in a couple of years.

Now now, lets not speculate about it till someone from VW can let us know for sure. I'll leave this unlocked but again I don't think there's any point nor need for hourly speculation or updates on the up/down status of the site. We'll find out when we find out :)

I hope to hell its not down permently, how will BWO and TBP survive, all the data on the site will be (gulp) gone :( :( :(

Well I guess i`ll have to wait in torment like everyone else till we find out... :mad2:

(edit) Anyone know where the mirrors are for the Babylon Project`s releases.. I just had a severe harddrive crash and lost everything related to freespace, which sucks big time..

(edit2) Still trying to piece everything back together, found out this was all caused by a single virius..  :sigh:

I didn't say the site was back up! Check the WHOIS db u guys! The domain is set to expire in April 2005, of course some domain registration websites can't even produce up to date information from this db.

I'm assuming your checking it through network solutions (http://www.networksolutions.com). It seems they have not updated the WHOIS correctly or the way they list information is different, but the fact that I can't register the VW domain verifies that the domain has in fact been renewed or is definitely on some sort of hold for approx. a year. You can check this with the InterNIC Whois (http://www.internic.net/whois.html) search ;), If it has been renewed its through an Australian domain service, well that’s my guess anyway :D
