http://www.comet-cartoons.com/toons/
This site is by one of the blokes who worked on the FS1 animations... I stumbled across it looking for tutorials, and figured it might be of curiousity value (plus there are some decent tuts there)

oh, my, god, the guy who made "hall fight" and the FS1 intro worked on VEGGIE TAILS
:wtf:
I think I'm going to be sick

the guy probably just did what he had to in order to survive. I hope.

Gotta do what you can to get places :D

and then wondered why there were 3 white meats?

I don't feel you should humilate them. They are professional animation makers, and they work on stuff they are hired to.
Money dominates the world over the human will, not powerful armies.

Meh, Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) Does the voice of The Joker in Batman, this guy at least started small to go smaller

The typical case where I can understand how different we himans are, somebody likes Star Wars, somebody doesn't.

Take note, Veggie Tales is one of the most widespead Children's CG animation available, right up there with Rolie Polie Olie(which is very cool). Just because you don't like it, don't desparage it.
God, I hope the lot of you get a lot more mature and realistic in your values before you have children. You can't show Hall Fight, as cool as it is, to young children.

have children? :nervous:
that would mean i have to erm, most likely get a....errrrr, long term relationship? :shaking:
i pass.

Hall fight is absolutely not brutal. There is no blood, there is no dead bodies. There are only Shivans, who look the same as spiders to children below the age of 8.
And why should they show Hall Fight to their children?
-
Errr you can still have violence without blood and gore. One of the marines gets smashed against the wall.
-
Mmm....wall.
:D
-
And another gets vaporised.
And you can see a shivan in the background beating the **** out of one of the others.

you're absolutly right, it's nothing about violence, I even heard they considered calling it Hall Cuddling, actually.
-
Teh Shivans luff j00!
-
Quick someone! Write to him!
-
yeah, nothing violent at all about a few guys getting gutted by glowing sichswords
-
OMG I just had this hilrious image of Dora the Explorer and its at one of those parts where she just stops and looks (creepily) at you, and then a shivan just walks up and rips her into little pieces and eats her!
Is it bad that i find this funny?
-
phh, i thought some of the veggie tales silly songs were some of the best silly songs, like, ever
-
This site has some funny  animations last time I checked, I like that KFC one . Around June last year I emailed him trying to chase down the outtakes from the FS cutscenes, his got them but he said he couldn’t release them because of copyright. He said that I’d have to contact either Interplay or [V] :sigh:

Hallfight has strong Christian values, such as how you're supposed to fear God and bow down to his judgement! Afterall, FreeSpace is a Christian game about the promised land, and how secular societies and souless aliens repress the will of God!
Neo-Terra forever! Kill Vasudans for Jesus!
-
I think you're getting close to crossing some edge, Ace.
...
That's very entertaining to look at :D

Tom and Jerry is merely a small step behind it in brutality. :D

Missed that one. Ha ha ha, good stuff.

Hallfight is about as violent as Tom & Jerry. In fact, it's less violent.
-
hallfight is more realistic than Tom & Jerry.
in T & J it's obvious it isn't real, but the dudes (and dudette) in hallfight look real, sort of...
-
just becase there isn't a lot of blood of bodyparts flying around doesn't mean it isn't violent, when the **** hit the fan things went so fast you could barely keep track of what was happening, but it was quite clear that much pain and death was despenced upon our poor bording party.
