Hey TAP people.

I PMed Grug about offering some rendering help... I am pretty proficient at still renders, and i'm trying to find someone who can explain how to do fully animated ones. I saw in the thread for help that these positions were needed... Are they still? I'm more then willing to help...

I've got 3DStudio Max 6, though i've heard from Lt. Cannonfodder that lightwave is pretty good, but i don't know if i'll find it available. I havent got any photoshop or the equivilent,and that may be a problem, but maybe not.

sounds good.
Though thorn is our local renderer / movie artist, he can't always do everything so we probably could use the help, maybe even expand into some other projects time issues seemed to contradict... :)

btw, do you have any examples? although it isnt required it would be nice to see some previous works and also ups the hype a bit :p

no, i've read them, but never registered... all the halo related forums are impossible to read... no one has grammar, and nobody ever comes close to helping you...

yeh, it is a very young modding community.  they all seem to be kids starting their first mods ever there...

But yeh, I'm around as Grug, though I probably wont post much untill HEK comes out or something...

but yeh, generally nice work :)
Have you ever tried your hand at animation, and / or movie scenes in Max?

I tried a simple one, but couldn't figure out how to get the camera to move :D ... I have a friend who goes to a Voactional school (how i got max 6 too) and he did a project and animated it, but i havent talked to him in a few days... maybe today i'll call him and ask how to do it...

Mate of mine did a course too, I got him to show me a few tricks in Max, though I havnt seen him in a while either... ah well.

more important assignments to do of late :( so many...
but yeh, if i can photoshop to stop spitting the dummy, i should have some screenies to show soon, displaying some more TAP delightfulness :D
